Evelyn was sitting at lunch today and told Gramma Claire very matter of fact
"you know what milk is made out of? Milk is made out of wheat
and (she paused for effect)... soil."
So there you have it folks, on Evelyn's authority. Wheat and soil = milk. Who knew?
Personally, I think she was just trying out a new word she'd heard, soil. But that's just a guess.

Yes, she does have a way of looking and sounding very much like an authority on the subject.
