Saturday was beautiful and we had a full day. Andy's cousin and family came over and played. We met at the park where it was sunny and warm and we played softball really-slow-pitch with Evelyn's pink foam covered bat and ball. When Evelyn and Kelvin had had enough we went back to our place and ate lunch and dyed eggs. Evelyn liked mixing the pink and blue to make purple eggs. Her favorite egg had a happy face drawn on before with crayon. Once the eggs had dried we took a few of them outside and practiced the great egg hunt. Neither of them remembered the game from last year so we called it 'hide and go seek egg hunt' and then they were interested. Scout showed us he was a master "egger" by finding all the eggs hidden close to the ground, bringing them to me and gently spitting them back out un-cracked. Once Evelyn and Kelvin had found the eggs several times, and dropped the eggs several times, we stopped for a snack of hard boiled eggs. It was so nice to be outside in the sun and we're especially excited for Brady and Courtney to buy a house in Milwaukie so we can have many more Saturdays together!
I'm so frustrated with my camera lately, it has a hard time focusing. So these are blurry ideas of what our day was like...
