Nora is two months old today!
My how time flies, it's breath taking how fast she is changing and growing. Nora is still a night owl. She is still in bed with us, sleeping on a "co-sleeper/changing table pad." We usually tuck ourselfs in around 12:30, but she is sleeping for much longer stretches. We have occationally been given 6-7 hours of sleep! Now if only we could get big sister back on board, Mama would be in heaven. Evelyn has taken to coming in and checking on us in the middle of the night to let us know she's having a hard time sleeping, or has to go potty, or is thirsty or itchy.
What is Nora doing these days?
~Nora loves her mobiles hanging from her swing and above her bassinet. She looks and looks at them. She flirts with the little bears hanging over her in the bassinet. She wiggles and smiles and is just on the cusp of starting to coo at them.
~Nora loves to be held up on our shoulders and is still quite "spitty" so you need a burp cloth if you don't want to have a wet shoulder. She snuggles into her baby carrier and doesn't stay awake for long when she's "on" me. I love having the top of her sweet little head right under my chin, she's so very kissable!
~During the day, she's a very calm and still sleeps quite a bit even when Evelyn is squealing and Scout is barking.
Thank you to my Dad who happened to be with us with his camera when Nora dazzled us with her gummy grins and sparkling smiles!
