Each night when Evelyn says her good-night prayer I sit listening on the edge of my seat. Sometimes they are startlingly profound, other times they nearly knock me off my seat they are so funny....
For example,
"Dear God, thank you for dis day and thank you for everyone I love, and thank you for chocolate milk, and thank you for McDonald's and thank you for da people working in McDonald's and keep dem all safe.Amen." ->she got to go on a Papa and Granny date earlier in the day and was apparently very grateful!
"Dear God, thank you for dis day and thank you for Katherine Hepburn (she said this, I am not making it up!). and thank you God for Katherine Hepburn's story tape. and thank you for everyone I love. Amen." I could barely hold it together long enough to say amen. Katherine Hepburn! I gotta get this kid a better set of story tapes :)
She's a funny bug.

Wow! I guess I haven't been keeping up with the Isoms! What a busy Holiday season you had!!! And, what happened to your baby? I Love the ballet picture! I'm so tickled she loved the lesson! And Katherine Hepburn, huh? My daughter did a research paper on her...of course that was in high school!!! So funny! You do have a precious, precocious little girl!
Over break I introduced my girls to White Christmas... Something to be said for the classics! I love Katherine Hepburn too! :-)
